Litigation in Legal Brain is organised by matter. Documents go into the vault, a chronology is built from them, discovery is registered, and a fact gap analysis looks across all of it for what you still need to prove.
Add events by hand, or let Legal Brain extract dated events from the documents already in the matter's vault. The chronology exports as a document you can work into a brief or a court book.
Record discovered documents against the matter and produce an index from the register, rather than keeping a separate spreadsheet that drifts out of step with the file.
The gap analysis reads the chronology, the discovery register and the matter's documents together and reports the facts your case still depends on that nothing in the file yet establishes. It is most useful before a hearing, when a missing piece of evidence can still be found.
Litigation and dispute templates in the library include:
Written profiles of 245 Australian judges, weighted towards the NSW and Victorian Supreme Courts, the Federal Court and the Queensland Supreme Court. Each describes the judge's background, style and what tends to persuade them. They are written profiles, last updated in March 2026, not statistics or sentencing data.
A secure link gives a client access to the matter's updates, the documents you choose and the chronology, with no password for them to manage and an activity log for you.
It searches AustLII first and falls back to NSW Caselaw, and citations link out to a source such as AustLII or JADE so you can read the judgment yourself.
Fair Work Commission and Queensland Supreme Court and Court of Appeal citations are checked live against the published decision. Others are matched against an offline citation index or marked unverified. Each citation carries a confidence score, and you should read any authority before relying on it.
No. Video can be stored in the vault, but it is not transcribed.
